What an unbelievable Easter.
We went "pseudo-live" in Ballantyne for the first time, running a copy of the teaching from the first Matthews service down 485 to make it just in the nick of time. After a lot of prayer and a principled decision not to have a back-up plan, everything went off without a hitch because of the planning, passion and commitment of our volunteers and staff.
And that - outside of God's evident moving in the services - was my big takeaway from the weekend.
Smiling greeters and parking lot people welcoming the hundreds of new faces; seriously, these folks know how to smile. Volunteers there at literally the crack of dawn. Tech guys doing whatever it took to make sure that both campuses had a great experience - nailing it while a couple of them were at the same time too hard on themselves (you know who you are!).
And the most people ever at Next Level. on a major school holiday weekend.
We'll report more stories and stats when they are all in, but for now - thanks to each and every one of you who dug deep and made yesterday happen.
