Discovery Center So Far

Wow, what a week - and it is just getting rolling!

People from all over the world are on the Matthews Campus this week - and I am not exaggerating.

Folks have traveled from the West Coast, Midwest, South - even from as far as Hawaii!

The nations represented include Nigeria, the Philippines, and Canada.

Staff and candidates are here to take part in a grueling, exhausting, and totally wonderful process to determine God's calling to them to be church planters or campus pastors.

The pressure is intense, the challenges are tough, the schedule is unrelenting - but the outcome is life-altering.

And be very jealous...tonight dinner is catered 'cue from the Q Shack!!

Didn't think we could bring in a worldwide audience and not have North Carolina Barbecue (the greatest cuisine known to man), did you?

Believe it or not, some of these people think "barbecue" is a verb!
