Well, we all risked a lot yesterday, didn't we?

As we talked about Broken in the Famreality series, you risked being willing to hear about family pain and to be reminded of your own.

And I risked a bit telling you some of my own gory details.

Thank you so much for your outpouring of love and support and compassion...I got e-mails and texts through the day and night and that means the world to me.

NLC is, HAS to be a place where we can be honest about everything - honesty brings all of our "stuff" to light so that grace can clean it up and change it...over time.

What's yours?

Is it admitting that the pain is there and being willing to reject the strategies of flight or fight?

Is it being willing to pivot from your pain to encourage others?

Is it an act of surrender to apply the power of the Cross to your pain?

Whatever it is, know that the joy is in the next step, not the next piece of knowledge!
