Invest and Invite to Rock Out! (Jared)

So for some reason I've been more excited about Legendary than any series we've done at Next Level in a long time. Why is that?

Simple. It's because when I heard of it I instantly thought of a couple different people I wanted to invite to church. And honestly that's a huge part of the reason I choose to be a part of Next Level Church.

Partly that has to do with me. One of the things I always struggle against is gaining other people's approval of myself. And this makes me not want to invite people to hear about the life changing truth about Jesus. What if I *gasp* get rejected!? But then I think, "We're playing freakin' Jimi Hendrix!" It doesn't get any cooler than that.

So I'm viewing this as a chance to grow. A chance to get past my own hangups and invite people to hear a life-changing message in a very cool environment.

We always encourage people to take the next step in their relationship with God, and I know what mine is this week. And whether you find it difficult or easy, I hope you'll invest in your friends lives and invite them to come hear Jimi and Jesus.
