HUGE day yesterday as we wrapped up The Real Jesus and made the transition to the most important four weeks in NLC history - LOVE REVOLUTION.

I used stories to illustrate four of the most important traits of Jesus Christ, which show us what God is like:

Jesus is a God of hope.
Jesus is a God of strength.
Jesus is a God of love.
Jesus is a God of mercy.

Then we looked at Jesus' last words from Acts 1:8: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses, telling people everywhere about me - in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

We saw that for the disciples to whom Jesus spoke this meant:
Jerusalem - their immediate area
Judea - their broader region
Samaria - people unlike them - racially, ethnically, socio-economically
The ends of the earth - to other nations and cultures

That strategy is still in force and LOVE REVOLUTION will be about how Next Level is going to ignite a LOVE REVOLUTION in OUR Jerusalem, OUR Judea, OUR Samaria, and OUR ends of the earth.
