We talked about how BUSY we all seem to be. And how we KNOW the right relationships to invest in, and we KNOW how to do it, but we can't ever seem to find the time. But for most of us, it's because we are trying to fit them in to an already packed schedule, instead of placing them in FIRST, and letting our schedule be built around them. See, for most of us, we don't need MORE capacity, we need better placed PRIORITIES...because PRIORITY DETERMINES CAPACITY!
When we study part of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 6:31-33, we see Jesus explaining to us that if we really believed that our Heavenly Father knows what we need in our schedules and in our lives, we would have NO PROBLEM putting our relationship with Him in first, along with the relationships that are most important.
When we learn to say YES to God and the relationships he want us to value FIRST in our lives, it will make it much easier to say NO to the irrelevant things that are cluttering up our schedules.
