I know I have, and here is my top five things to do with my last week on earth:
1) Spend as much time with my wife and sons as possible.
2) Write down the story of what God has done in my life.
3) Travel somewhere really cool.
4) Play (and smash) the world's most expensive guitar.
5) Swim (and converse) with dolphins.
Ok, so my list started serious and digressed into I don't even know what, but you get the point.
I think the way we answer that question reveals our true passions in life. (Apparently, mine are family, God, experiencing life, music, and marine mammals.
There was a time where Jesus found Himself in that EXACT situation; He knew when He was going to die, and He knew He was in the last week of His life.
When I think about it that way, it makes me INSANELY interested to learn more about how Jesus spent that last week, to see the things that He was passionate about. That's why I'm beyond excited for this new series that's coming up, which is all about diving into that last week of Jesus' life.
Maybe His passions can show us where our passions should be...
