My Prayer For My Son...and Myself

For each one of my sons, I have a Bible verse that I pray for them each day of their lives. Justin is my oldest - he is sixteen. Here is his verse from 1 Chronicles 28 - King David's prayer for his son and successor, Solomon:

“And you, Solomon my son, know the God of your father and serve him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought."

Here's the secret - I pray this for myself as well. That I would serve God with a whole heart and a willing mind, knowing he knows me inside and out. Can you pray this as well - for yourself and those you love?
