"Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us".
Three things for you in that verse - if you are in hard times, know someone in hard times, or ever will be in hard times.
In other words, three things for ALL of you!
-Our basic posture before God is trust. He has never lied, never failed, and demonstrated his love for us on the Cross. No matter what you have lost or are losing, you can trust him because he has lost more and given more. The expanse of his love is indescribable.
-God can take all of our pain - -'pour out your heart'. You can say things to him you can't say to anyone else. As a matter of fact, HE is the very best place to go with your pain.
-He is a safe place - a 'refuge'. At times, others can be a refuge for us, but ultimately there is only one place to go that is 100% safe all the time - our relationship with God. He is our strong tower and safe place.
